Due to its previous waste disposal method, the beautiful Nailcote Hall Hotel, situated in the picturesque Warwickshire countryside had been attracting some very unwelcome guests.

The open skip that required over 180 waste collections a year was proving to be a gourmet invitation to wasps and other flying insects. The pungent smell of the skip in the hot summer sun was also not a good reflection on this luxury hotel.

After ACM carried out a full waste audit, a high density, lockable, portable compactor and single chamber baler were installed.

The difference has been measurable. Not only have the number of waste collections been reduced to just twelve a year, the wasp problem now seems firmly under control.

The removal of cardboard from the hotel's waste stream has also made a significant contribution to reducing the number of collections needed at the hotel. Not only does the ACM solution mean a positive impact environmentally the reduction in vehicle movement increases site safety and means less noise in this tranquil setting.
