Like many football grounds, cleaning up after 35,000 fans is a challenge in itself. The sheer volume of waste generated, predominately that of food, was causing a real health and hygiene problem, one that the newly refurbished Boleyn Ground Stadium could ill afford.

The scale of the cleaning operation was also hampered by the lack of a suitable waste compaction solution which would greatly help to alleviate the litter problem around the ground, nearby hotel and conference facilities alike.

The installation of an ACM 100% guaranteed leakproof compactor, with its powerful 34 tonne hydraulic rams, has helped to reduce the club's overall waste costs by up to 40%.

The effective containment and compaction of the waste has prevented any access to vermin and has greatly improved the general hygiene and cleanliness of the ground. The additional support ACM offered was to colour co-ordinate the compactor and deliver it resplendent in the traditional claret and blue, a colour matching service that is unique to ACM.
