Company History
Due to the waste producers demand for a complete waste management solution including provision of equipment, collection and recycling services, ACM Waste Management plc was formed in 1996 to provide a complete One-Stop-Shop Waste Facilities Management Service. ACM plc has seen significant demand and growth, acquiring Advanced Compaction Machines Ltd as a wholly owned subsidiary in 2001 to focus on the success and promotion of its all inclusive waste management 'Complete Care Programme'. ACM's most recent addition to the family is ACM Recycling Technology Ltd specially formed to develop ACM's growing reputation as a provider of technologically advanced recycling solutions for the UK's more rapidly environmentally conscious organisations. In 2003 the company was listed as 14th fastest growing company in the UK, as well as being the UK's fastest growing Environmental Services Company. ACM now directly employs 40 personnel and engages a further 100 indirect personnel, providing services to clients such as Financial Times, Dixons, Palmer Harvey & McLane, Whitbread plc, Safeways (Morrisons) and a number of local authorities, NHS trusts and hotel groups. |
