Recycling, particularly on larger sites, can sometimes be more hassle than it should be. Aside from the clear environmental benefits, the battle between overflowing bins and flyaway bits of rubbish can make the task disheartening- perhaps it’s time to find a more effective alternative?

One way of keeping large volumes of rubbish under control is installing a commercial waste compactor or baler to compress materials under high pressure, into solid cubes that are much easier to control than loose rubbish. With less rubbish on site, the risk of fire caused by loose rubbish will be significantly reduced, improving health and safety conditions.

Why use recycling equipment?

Using a compactor or baler would mean fewer skips and bins to be required on site, improving the appearance of your site, and will be collected and emptied less frequently than regular waste disposal, saving time and improving efficiency.

ACM have a wide range of general waste and recycling products. Ranging from different sizes and volumes to suit all sized businesses, such as the commercial waste baler that can reduce recyclable waste volume up to 90%. Balers compress recyclable materials such as cardboard, paper and plastics into bales, which reduces the costs of storage, handling and transportation whilst the recyclable value of your waste will be maximised.

Food and Dry Waste Recycling

For recycling food and dry waste, commercial waste compactors are 100% odour and leak proof. They also offer improved hygiene levels and are less prone to spillages, vermin and insects. Our compactors have a compaction ratio of 6:1, so need emptying less frequently than conventional waste compactors and are a clean and efficient method of both transporting and containing large quantities of dry waste and recyclable materials.

If a waste compactor or waste baler could be of interest to you, it is important to undergo a professional waste management analysis, to interpret which solution is most appropriate for your business. Contact us to find out more on our services and waste management equipment.
