The Next-tec PolyCycleTM range of plastic densification equipment has been specifically designed to treat and aide the recycling of expanded polymers such as expanded polystyrene (EPS), expanded polypropylene (EPP).

Utilising their patented “Specific Radiant Wavelength” (SRW) technology the ‘D’ series of machines are highly efficient and quiet in comparison to traditional mechanical compaction techniques. In addition the incorporated bagging system reduces the manpower required to operate the machine. The resultant free-flowing recyclate is suitable for direct feed into a recycling line, vastly reducing the carbon footprint required to recycle these types of material.

A robust design ensures that the machine will operate effortlessly; even under the most testing of conditions. This ultimately results in reduced labour costs.

Combined with volume reduction rates of up to 95% means that the ‘D’ series is the most advanced and efficient volume reduction technology on the market to treat expanded polymers.

PolyCycleTM Densifiers D150/D300

Densification and volume reduction solutions for expanded polymers.

The PolyCycleTM D300 plastics densification machine is specifically designed to treat expanded polymers such as Expanded Polystyrene (EPS), Expanded Polypropylene (EPP).

The PolyCycleTM D300 uses a 3 stage process to reduce the volume of expanded plastics by up to 95%.

Stage 1
A powerful pre-breaker passes the material through a screen reducing it to a manageable size.

Stage 2
The Direct Specific Radiant Wavelength (DSRW) tunnel collapses the cells in the plastic leaving it in a pebble format.

Stage 3
The pebbles are then collected from the belt by a cyclone bagging system. The material is impacted” and broken down further before being automatically bagged. The final result is a material that is free flowing, suitable for recycling purposes and greatly reduced in volume. Pre-breaker P500/P1000

The PolyCycleTM P500 pre-breaker is specifically designed for expanded polymers such as expanded Polystyrene (EPS), expanded Polypropylene (EPP).

The powerful twin shaft direct drive pre-breaking mechanism first breaks the material up into smaller pieces and then passes them through a screen to ensure an optimum size. In doing so all the voids in the packaging are removed which significantly reduces the volume of the material.

The material can then be exited from the machine either by means of a conveyor or a materials handling fan.
