Comprehensive Maintenance Plan
ACM’s Fully Comprehensive Service Plan will be specific to the type of waste/recycling equipment to be maintained, ensuring full compliance with the manufacturers' recommendations and the safe operation of the equipment.
The plan will include a scheduled numbers of service visits per annum, delivered against pre-defined service inspection tasks specific to the equipment type, its operational environment and its designed application, as well as identifying, recording and actioning any remedial/repair work covered under the specific Comprehensive Maintenance Agreement.
The maintenance plan is fully inclusive of travel to site, emergency breakdown call out charges (within normal working hours Monday to Friday) and the replacement of all serviceable parts and components unless excluded under the comprehensive maintenance agreement.
Breakdown / Repair Work
ACM provides and offers breakdown and repair services to customers, who operate waste and recycling equipment.
ACM schedule and allocate the engineering resource to attend breakdowns or carry out repair work quoted or specified and authorised by the customer.
ACM further make copies of all relevant maintenance documentation and supporting data on request from the customer.
Routine Maintenance Plan
ACM’s routine maintenance service plan is specific to the type of waste/recycling equipment to be maintained and in full compliance with the manufacturers' recommendations for the safe operation of the equipment.
Depending on the type of equipment, the plan will include a scheduled number of service visits per annum delivered against pre-defined service inspection tasks specific to the equipment type, its operational environment and its designed application and identifying and reporting on an any repairs, malfunctions or safety issues that require action to safeguard the equipment’s integrity in terms of its efficiency and safe operation.
The Routine service plan is inclusive of the recommended number of scheduled service visits per annum, travel to site, lubrication, minor adjustments and an engineer’s written report confirming completion of the scheduled service identifying any remedial or repair work requiring authorisation from the customer in the form of a purchase order number prior to the work commencing.
A full refurbishment service, using original manufacturers’ equipment, offering considerable savings against ‘new for old’ replacement equipment from our workshop facility in Waltham Abbey.

We deliver a turnkey installation solution spanning:
- Full site survey to check space, ventilation, power supply and access
- Logistics, delivery and unloading
- Comprehensive training in the operation of any new equipment
- Full operation and methods pack detailing all controls and indicators; operating instructions; wiring and hydraulic diagrams; service schedules; and all relevant health and safety information
Site based training covering essential operation and housekeeping:
- Oil and hydraulic fluid check and replace
- New operator training
- Refresher training
- ‘Train the trainer’ sessions
- Accredited Health and Safety training
