Supervise the workshop and workshop staff to maintain a safe and clean working environment. To repair compactors, balers, shredding machines and all other associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Service & workshop Manager, by ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards
  • Supervise the workshop and workshop staff to maintain a safe and clean working environment
  • Ensure that we maintain a high standard of workmanship whilst controlling costs to ensure customer satisfaction and maximum profitability for ACM
  • Advise on all aspects of equipment condition both pre and post refurbishment/repair
  • Repair compactors, balers, shredding machines and all other associated equipment.
  • Support the Field Service Operation in times of need and be prepared to carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by ACM
  • Support the Service & Workshop Manager

Key Knowledge and qualifications Required

  • Qualified (NVQ or apprentice trained)
  • 5 years experience post qualification experience in a similar role
  • Current valid driving license
  • Forklift Driving License
  • Electrical fault finding welding and hydraulic repair licence

  • An understanding of engineering drawings and principles
  • The ability to work methodically and precisely
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Team working skills.

Location: workshop at Eco House, Waltham Abbey with some field visits as required

 

 

Hours:

Monday to Friday 08:00-17:00 (40 hours per week) 37.5 hours per week
