ACM shortlisted for Recycling Excellence Site Management at the National Recycling Awards

Reconomy brand, ACM has been announced in the shortlist at this year’s MRW – Material Recycling World National Recycling Awards under the category – Recycling Excellence Site Management Award.  

MRW’s National Recycling Awards is recognised as the largest and most recognised awards in the recycling and resource management sector, with 2022 reporting over 550 attendees. The awards provide members of the sector with endless networking opportunities by bringing together the most recognised players in the industry.  

The Recycling Excellence Site Management award recognises initiatives by businesses that can showcase increased recycling rates and resource efficiency through innovation. The award focuses on how materials are being diverted away from landfill or energy recovery, moving up the waste hierarchy. 

ACM has been shortlisted for its work with Nottingham Building Society this year. ACM has rolled out a mixed recycling service across Nottingham Building Society’s branch network, moving these materials up the waste hierarchy, increasing recycling rates and reducing costs.  Emphasis was placed on reducing contamination across waste streams whilst  new signage and an employee communication plan helped ensure that every branch was fully aware of the new waste segregation services and how to use them. 

This year’s summit will be held at a new venue – City Central at the HAC, London, and with over 550 people expected to attend on 16th November 2023.
