We’re searching for a Business Development Executive, to join our Telemarketing Team. Helping to drive our business forwards and secure new clients. We are a progressive and innovative organisation, and we would love to find a motivated individual to join our successful team. Contacting prospective clients over the phone, engaging with their needs and introducing them to our products & services in order to gain sales appointments for our Sales Consultants. You will be expected to be flexible to adapt to the business needs, focus will be on winning new business, along with assisting the sales department in promoting the business at regional & national level.

The Role:


  • To ensure that a good level of understanding and knowledge of ACM Environmental Ltd products & services, which is always maintained and ensuring that customers leads and enquires can be dealt with accurately and appropriately.
  • To provide qualified leads and book appointments over the telephone for the sales team, to generate new business.
  • To follow up marketing campaigns and events to generate new prospect leads by telephone, identifying and qualifying opportunities for new business.
  • To engage and interact with decision makers at a senior level to identify new and emerging business opportunities.
  • To speak positively and enthusiastically about ACM Environmental Ltd and its products and services to ensure that a professional company and brand image is always provided to its customers and colleagues.
  • To communicate courteously with all customers by telephone, email, and face to face, building positive relationships and progressing issues and queries to a successful conclusion at the earliest time.
  • To deal appropriately with queries received via email or telephone and provide written or verbal responses to confirm the information or outcome.
  • To accurately maintain and update records within the ACM Environmental Ltd CRM system all relevant customer information, actions, updates, and outcomes.
  • To provide line management daily/weekly/monthly reports as required.

  • Based in or around the Waltham Abbey, Herts area

Key Skills

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
  • An outstanding communicator with a good eye for detail.
  • Ambitious and proactive with a result driven attitude, you adapt easily to evolving priorities, using your initiative to find answers.
  • Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills.
  • Can liaise with all levels in business including senior/board level.
  • Excellent ICT skills (Excel, Outlook, Word), CRM systems.
  • Excellent Planning & organisation Skills – prioritising workloads.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads.
  • Strong work ethic and high energy levels.
  • Resilient and tenacious.
  • Comply with and actively promote all company policies.

The role is office based.
